Founder, Dave Thomas and his American Dream Story....

Dave Thomas was the founder of the famous Wendy's international restaurant chain. In spite of never knowing his birth mother and dropping out of high school in the 10th grade, he went on to become a highly successful businessman. However, he never forgot the really important things in life--integrity, honesty, moral and religious values--that were instilled in him by his adoptive grandmother.

In his book, Well Done, Dave Thomas said, "…There's no reason in the world that a dirt-poor kid like me with a jumbled home life who dropped out of school should have made, but I did--at least in some ways. And if I can, you can. Anybody can."
