Mt. Vernon was the home of George Washington, one of our founding fathers, and our first American president. It is the most popular historic estate in America. Located just 16 miles south of Washington, D.C. and 8 miles south of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, the plantation rests on the banks of the Potomac River.

Liberty Bell was cast in London and sent to the building currently known as Independence Hall, then the Pennsylvania State House, in 1753. Inscribed at the top was part of a Biblical verse from Leviticus, "Proclaim Liberty throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants thereof."

Lincoln Memorial commemorates the life of Abraham Lincoln, our 16th American president who was called the "Great Emancipator". The Memorial is located in Potomac Park, Washington, D.C.
